Alta Loma is a specialized men's program dedicated to long-term treatment for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and co-occurring substance misuse, offering tailored support and comprehensive care. With 4 beautiful facilities each catering to the specific needs of men, Alta Loma at The Villa combines intensive outpatient programming at Alta Loma with supportive living at Casa Sana. Here, men participate in a structured environment where they can find emotional and psychological stability. With customized mental health plans, Alta Loma aims to be with their patients every step of the way.
Alta Loma's primary goal is to help with community reintegration. With a therapist, addiction specialist, case managers, nurses, and mentors, patients will be given the tools, direction, and framework needed to overcome addiction or mental health conditions. Life skills, process groups, peer support groups, and individual counseling are all a part of their program. Residents also have numerous opportunities to pursue their interests and take part in social and recreational activities throughout the program. Alta Loma intends to provide residents with at least 2 structured outings per week, which can include hiking, bowling, biking, sporting events, disc golf, and more.
Each facility at Alta Loma is unique, offering a plethora of amenities and comfort. The Villa offers a comfortable and independent environment with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms for each client. Located in historic Georgetown, the 6,411-square-foot building provides easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, work, and education centers. Residents enjoy nutritious meals, access to the local recreation center, and transportation within Georgetown.
