Swift River is on a beautiful 500-acre campus located in the rolling hills of Berkshire Mountains. There rehabilitation facility helps men and women who are struggling with drug and alcohol addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. They have 24-hour care with nurses and recovery coaches on-site. All of the substance abuse treatment programs follow American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) guidelines. Their programs use evidence-based treatment but also include experiential therapies that involve the environment to enhance the recovery process. They do individual treatment plans that are designed to meet the needs and goals of the clients. Swift River treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), art therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR). Swift River offers on-site detox, residential treatment, intensive outpatient program (IOP), medication-assisted treatment, and Day Treatment (PHP). A typical stay is around 30 days. Swift River is accredited by the Joint Commission, and they accept most major forms of insurance.
