SLO Recovery Center

SLO Recovery a dual diagnosis treatment center that specializes in treating substance use disorder and mental health conditions. SLO Recovery offers a unique, holistic, multi-disciplinary approach, and they seek to provide hope for the whole person. Each level of care at SLO Recovery Center starts with an assessment of the client and their circumstances. That assessment allows placement into detoxification, PHP, day treatment, IOP, sober living, or outpatient programming. Clients at SLO Recovery will have the opportunity to engage in traditional therapies as well as evidence-based therapies. Some of the therapies include relapse prevention, role playing, CBT, DBT, ACT, exposure therapy, and narrative therapy. Holistic therapies include acupuncture, mediation and mindfulness, and yoga. SLO Recovery also uses several education and skill enhancing techniques such as non-violent communication, brain and behavior, life skills, and healthy relationships. SLO recovery is an all-inclusive program that allows for the entire family to start, develop, and participate in a healing process. Family involvement is a cornerstone of the SLO program. They provide services such as family counseling, family intervention, and recovery mentorship.

SLO Recovery believes that healing starts with a healthy environment. They provide gender-specific housing for both men and women. The sober living homes are in up-scale neighborhoods of Portland, Oregon. They provide the structure needed to keep clients track and guide them on their way to recovery. SLO Recovery is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
